Are you looking for a deeper understanding of how your child experiences and interacts with the world? This parent information session will provide foundational knowledge about autism and practical strategies to support your child at home and at school.
Topics include:
Foundational understanding of autism
Differences in male and female presentations of autism
Practical strategies for home and school
Understanding "Theory of Mind" and how it affects friendships.
Join us to learn more, ask questions, and gain practical strategies to support your child.
Pre-registration is required. Please let us know during the registration process if you plan on attending via Zoom or in-person at Parkland School Division Centre for Education. If you are attending over Zoom, a Zoom invite link will be sent to you two hours prior to the event.
